Return & Refund Policy

We want you happy each and every time you buy from us. Our customers will remain our focus in the future. We will take care of each customer, one at a time, each time we hear from him or her. However if due to some unforeseen situation you are not happy with the product then the following terms apply for a mutually consented resolution of the situation.
We do our best to make sure you never need to use this policy. But still for theory purpose here it is: - If an item you ordered from Salwari does not meet your expectations do write to us and we will happily try to assist you.
We are dedicated to Salwari to offer you the best quality in our products and our services. We know that mistakes are sometimes made though, and we are here to help remedy those problems.
If you want to cancel order within 24hrs after your purchase, we'll 100% refund amount back to your same payment method you used while checkout within 2 to 5 working days.
We can't cancel the placed order after 24hrs, If you want to cancel the order after 24hrs you will have to pay 30% bank payment processing & order cancellation charges from your total order amount. We do not provide any cancellation if the order is for processing and products are received. We don't provide any refunds for the same. Cancellation amount can be refunded back to payment method you used while checkout or can be credited as Salwari's Store Credit or Coupons.


Custom-made/stitched clothing, including standard and custom stitched salwar kameez, readymade stitched sarees or sarees stitched with a custom blouse, Men’s Wear, Kid’s wear, Imitation jewellery,  Bags, etc. are NOT returnable.

Any complaint in unstitched products with regards to damage or stains or stitching or any other should be reported to us within 48 hrs of the receipt of the products. We must need a digital picture, and unboxing videos of the same in order to review the defect.

Customers need to bare the shipping cost while returning the products.

All products should be returned in the original condition with tags intact as attached to the dress. The presence of original tags is a must to accept returns.

Refund Policy

In case of a defect, stain, or wrong product we prefer to return or replace. In case the customer doesn’t want it then below mentioned policy is applicable.

We will not refund the shipping charges paid by you while purchasing the item.

In the case of orders with free shipping, the shipping cost would be deducted from the refund.

We will not refund the customs duties or taxes, if applicable, or paid by you at the time of receiving the goods.

In case of a product return, we will issue a refund once we receive the product back at our office.

Products with Visible Damage / Manufacturing Defect or Wrong Item

We expect the customer must take an unboxing video to avoid any future discrepancies.

In case you have received a product that seems either damaged or is different from what you ordered, the Customer must email us or contact our customer support within 48 hours of receipt of the product. Please save all the packing materials along with the product. Once you contact us, we will guide you throughout the process.

We will be shipping a replacement product earliest possible without you paying any extra charges.

In case the ordered product is out of stock then we will allow you to option for an alternate product. Our help desk will maintain communication with you till you are satisfied with the product.

In case, you do not feel like buying an alternate, we will refund the entire amount without any deduction.


In case of multiple goods being ordered, if the delivery is not possible for certain items, customers will be requested to select alternate items or if no alternate selection is desired by customer then she will be promptly refunded against the non-delivered goods or services along with their shipping charges to the same mode of payment used to place order.
If the outer packing is damaged or tampered with, do verify the quality and quantity of the items with the invoice before accepting the package from the courier agency. In case of any discrepancy, either refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting a suitable remark on the proof of delivery. Also lodge a proper complaint about the local office of the courier agency, so that we may pursue them.
Handle the product with care, and we recommend you take an unboxing video of the parcel to avoid any future discrepancies.
We would like to notify you that the product descriptions that we mention are approximate values. This includes weight, color, embroidery details and dimensions. Even though mostly, they are accurate, there may be cases where the descriptions have slight deviations. In case of deviation in the product description, we are not responsible; we would appreciate if our customers understand the same before demanding return or refund for the product.
While we make the best attempts to design and portray products precisely, there are chances that the customer may receive a product with minor variations in color as displayed over the site. The color difference can be justified owing to the fabric dyes, the weather while dying and differences in the screen resolution of monitors. Hence, a customer must be ready to expect a minor variation in color from what was seen on the computer screen. Below are the instances of the differences that the customer might experience.
For bright hues like red, maroon and orange the tendency to reflect a different shade is high.
Colors from the same family - green, aqua blue shades & off white, white and beige colors may seem overlapping.
Stiff fabrics like raw silk, khadi, brocade, tussar silk and south cotton display a similar textured effect where one can observe the direction of weaved threads. Please note that this is a prominent characteristic of these fabrics and is not a defect.
Pieces with hand printing and embroidery are certain to have minor differences. Even though the artisans ensure maximum efforts to avoid the difference, the variation could still exist.
• The product, if any, should be in its original condition.
• Tags should be retained and returned.
• The products must not have been used, worn, washed, or damaged;
• Original Tax Invoice to be included with the return.
• Return and exchange postage costs will be at your expense. We encourage you to return your parcel via registered or traceable postal services as all returned parcels remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by Salwari.
• Store purchases cannot be returned or refunded online.
• No return/exchange will be done for customized, stitched, and altered products.
